Nwokorie O. Smart is a food Scientist by training, a motivational Teacher by passion, a chattered Scientist by calling and a go-getter by decision, a visionary and a light bearer. He is the C.E.O and founder of Standard Academy, Standard International Schools, Standard Scholarship Foundation and Estandar Resources LTD. He earned his multi-faceted and elongated degrees from several universities across Nigeria. (Unizik, UniJos, MOUAU, ABSU)

        Nwokorie O. Smart was born on 2nd August,1971, a father of four children with a very beautiful and quintessential wife. Chief Dr. Nwokorie O. Smart as popularly addressed is a philanthropist who donates his money, experience, time, talent and skills to help others create a better world. As a politician and educationist, he has touched and still touching many lives positively.                  Immediately after the lifting of the lockdown policy by federal government in August,2020 when students were asked to return to schools for their third term academic session across Nigeria (not only in Abia state). Schools  insisted that parents must pay school fees for their wards to resume for the term. At standard international schools, Umuahia. The story was different. Dr. Nwokorie O. Smart declared a tuition-free academic term for all and sundry in his citadel of learning. This gesture was unprecedented. This multi million naira philanthropy has never happened in the history of private school business in recent times, This is the kind of personality we have in our great party.

       As if it is not enough,  on 21st of November, 2020, he was conferred with the title “EZIOKWU BU NDU”(TRUTH IS LIFE) by HRH EZE (HONS) AMB. ARUNSI N. UKA (JP), the traditional ruler of Agbo-Oha Autonomous Community Okwoko Nkporo Ohiafia L.G.A.

At his community, Ogbodiukwu Umuopara Umuahia South L.G.A where he was welcome and conferred with a certificate of recognition. He has empowered many widows in his community in the area of establishing businesses for them, in awarding scholarship to their children and in health care delivery. He also attracted Junior secondary school Ogbodi Ukwu with his political contacts.

      In the church, As a Methodist, he has given to his GIVER according to his ability. He has received several awards in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the church.

       Today marks the anamnesis of his  birthday. May God continue to strengthen him. Wishing him a sumptuous happy birthday.
