The President General of the Igbo World Union, Ambassador Mishak Nnanta KJW, Gburugburu Ndigbo Dum, has paid a strategic visit to members of the Igbo business community in São Paulo, where he engaged with entrepreneurs and traders on issues of unity, economic growth, and diaspora development. The visit formed part of his ongoing efforts to strengthen ties among Ndi Igbo living abroad and to promote collective progress.

Addressing the business community, Ambassador Nnanta commended their resilience, hard work, and contributions to the economic landscape of Brazil. He praised their entrepreneurial spirit, noting that Igbo traders and business owners in São Paulo have continued to distinguish themselves through innovation, discipline, and commitment to excellence despite operating in a foreign environment.

He, however, emphasized the importance of unity among members of the Igbo community, urging them to set aside differences and work together for the common good. The President General also advised the business leaders to remember home by investing in Igboland, stressing that diaspora investments are critical to regional development and economic empowerment. He noted that while they thrive abroad, contributing to development back home will help create opportunities, strengthen local economies, and preserve the legacy for future generations.

Ambassador Nnanta further highlighted the forthcoming Igbo unification event in Brazil, expressing optimism that it will serve as a major unifying factor for Ndi Igbo across the country. He described the event as a platform for fostering deeper connections, cultural pride, and collaboration, adding that the union looks forward to a fantastic and impactful gathering that will reinforce the spirit of togetherness among Igbos in Brazil.
