The Uturu Development Association, the umbrella body overseeing the affairs of Uturu Ancient Kingdom has after there general meeting, passed a communique suspending 2 of her members who according to the release been found engaging in activicties capable of challenging the development and well being of the community. the Communique reads:
We the Executive and members of Uturu development Association, after our 27th September National Executive Council meeting held at the Unity Hall Ekeukwu and after due consultations have resolved and approved the suspension of the following officers
1. Mr Columbus Okereke (Assistant Secretary General, Okpu, Ugwuele Autonomous Community)
2. Simeon Chinedu Onyeje (Assistance National PRO Ogwahia Nneji Autonomous Community)
for their invlovement in activities inimical to the developmnet of Uturu Acient Kingdom. this suspension is with effect from 28th September 2019 till further notice.
therefore, we advice the general public to restrain from any form of transaction with the aforementioned in the name of Uturu Dev. ASSo. as that will be at their own peril.
the communique was signed by the President General Hon Emmanuel U Akaeme, Comrade Uchendu Benson Osita Secretary General and Rev James Obineche, National Publicity Secretary.
