The immediate past Vice Chairman of Ubani Main Market Umuahia Abia State Mr chikodi chukwunyere popularly called okpo has thrown his weight behind the leadership of Dr Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State for his steadfastness on fighting the spread of the Deadly pandemic  (covid 19) and the show of care in discharging palliatives to the good people of Abia State. "According to Mr Chikodi, the prompt intervention of the Governor has held the spread of the virus against escalation in our dear state."

Mr Chikodi used the opportunity to throw more light about Ubani main Market which has given the government nightmares in terms of relocating of traders to the market. 

    He pointed out that the main challenge to the market is the location of few mini markets in the Umuahia Metropolist. Abandoning of various shops owned by individuals and some government workers which is on key and lock now. These are mitigating trading in Ubani he said. He eulogized Right  hon. I’m pleading with him to try his best so that the people in town will be relocated  to urbani main market and  also government should please stop those buildings,they are converting into Shops in town and too much of shopping plaza all over umuahia, it’s really affecting the people in urbani main market."
