Empty promises cannot help Abia Central - ADC's Dr John Abraham Godson

If there's anything Abia Central Senatorial Zone electorates should do in the forthcoming election, is to be decisive in their choice of candidate and avoid politicians with empty promises.

This was made known by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Senatorial candidate Hon John Abraham Godson in an interview with newsmen. Hon Godson spoke about the changes he will bring to Abia Central as an experienced Lawmaker.

He said if he has contributed immensely to the development of another man's land, how much more the people of Abia Central.

It is apparent that Mr Godson does not consider himself to be a politician. He believes that he is called to use his political engagements to serve and to change our communities for the better hence he has used his various public service engagements as a politician and as an expert and adviser to those in authority.

“I was the chair of the parliamentary group on Africa and I was also the chair of the Polish Nigeria bye parliamentary group, and through my activities Africa became important to  Poland then Government started a program called (Go Africa) and for the first time in the history of Poland, a Poland Prime Minister visited Nigeria” He said.

Nigeria is the only African country that Poland has signed strategic partnership with, and those strategic partnerships concerns issues of Defence, issues of Education, issues of Agriculture and several others. I facilitated them” He added.

I feel my people of Abia Central should use me and get it right this time. This is not when we keep saying Party Party Party. Now is a matter of Individual with the ability to secure goals in a short while". He said.
