SOMETHING GOOD CAN COME OUT OF ABIA, OTTI DECLARES

The Labour Party governorship candidate in Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti has told worshippers at the Annual Methodist Church's Convenant Service in Aba that indeed something good can come out of the state and that the time is now.

Otti who made the declaration during the Annual Convenant Service of Methodist Church of Nigeria, bemoaned the unfortunate leadership challenges ravaging Abia which has prompted the rhetorical question "Can Anything Come Out Of Abia" like was asked in the case of the Biblical Nazareth.

He insisted that Abia and Nigeria require serious leadership interventions and urged the people to be ready and prepared to do the needful in adherence to the Biblical injunction that" If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword”; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

The church service which took place at the Headquarters of The Archdiocese, Methodist Church of Nigeria, Wesley Cathedral, Park Road Aba, saw thousands of worshipers from different Circuits gather for the Convenant Service which takes place once in a year and which is aimed at entering into a convensnt with God for the rest of the year.

Otti, a regular visitor to the church received a loud ovation amidst cheers and applause of acceptance as his presence was announced by the officiating minister, Arch Bishop Godfrey Agupusi.

The ex bank chief was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Priscilla Otti; the Labour Party deputy governorship candidate, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu and the Aba North and South Federal Constituency Labour Party candidate, Hon Emeka Nnamani.

Others in his entourage were LP candidates - Hon Ucheonye Stephen Akachukwu, Aba Central State Constituency; Hon CEmmanuel Emeruwa, Aba South State Constituency and Hon Destiny Nwagwu, Aba North State Constituency.
