Barr Akaliro K Anderson wins Umuahia North State Constituency House of Assembly seat

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday declared Barr Akaliro K. Anderson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the Abia State House of Assembly Constituency seat in Umuahia North State Constituency.

According to the returning officer, “Barr Akaliro K Anderson of APC, having satisfied the requirements of the law and scored the highest number of votes in Umuahia North is hereby declared the winner and returned elected,” He said.

Speaking with Newsmen in Umuahia, Akaliro dedicated his Victory at the poll to God and the good people of Umuahia north/Ohuhu state Constituency.

"May I humbly thank the good people of umuahia north state constituency for their show of love and voting massively for me at the just concluded HOA election wherein I pulled the highest number of votes to emerge the winner. Thank you ndi Ohuhu for this uncommon love." He said.
