  1. We are going to take possible actions to help State Government stop illegal revenue collection in the State.

Few days ago the Executive Members of Ibeku Youth were detailed by our CSO (Bright Nwabuko) on how some hoodlums took over isi-gate and butcher some innocent citizens sent by the Deputy Governor to stop illegal revenue collection. With the ugly incident, as the "Host Community of the State Capital" we decided to extend our Security Network Team to isi-gate in a bid to assist the State Government achieve her good policy.

    Our presence there is to:

    1. Report suspicious activity to the Government or Police- we will encourage our Security Network Team to report any suspicious activity to the government. Not only within isi-gate, we will monitor and report any suspicious activity within our jurisdiction to the government for investigate and proper action against those engaged in illegal revenue collection.

As soon as it get dark, a lot of ugly things usually happens within that isi-gate areas, sometimes bad boys do snatch cell phones, stab and rape innocent citizens within that isi-gate. Our Security Network presence will stop all those nonsense acts.

    2. We will collaborate with local community youth leaders to provide assistance to those affected by illegal revenue collection and report to the State Government.

    3. See, Igo Yan, we are ready to work with the government to implement laws and policies that encourage transparency and discourage corruption by advocating for changes in the legal framework or government policies that would make it easier to identify and prosecute those engaged in illegal revenue collection. In fact, we are going to organize a public awareness campaign - to work with the State Government and media to educate citizens about the problem of illegal revenue collection and the importance of complying with official regulations.

You must note that our major interest here is to see the present Government succeed in all ramifications. We want to hear people making references with Abia State positively.

I believe, ogether we will build a new Abia.

Thank you and God bless you.
