The Manager clean and Green Ltd Umuahia Mr Kelechi Okoro says, there is need for collective efforts by all Abians in achieving cleaner environment, hence the declares the support of Clean and Green cities to the state government in making sure that Abia is clean.
He made this known to newsmen during the monthly clean up exercise held in the state. According to him, "We are into environmental services and facility management and we have decided to unleash all our sanitization equipment and personel here to clean the city center (Isigate) of Umuahia. All you are seeing here are our workers, we have mobilized ourselves to support the government and humanity in cleaning Umuahia. We also want to pledge that we will continue to support the effort of the government to fight epidemic through a well kept environment"
The manager Clean and Green Ltd noted the importance of collective efforts in achieving a cleaner environment also stated that the present administration of Governor Alex Otti has shown great dedication to addressing environmental issues in Abia State as well as ensuring public health, hence the declaration of a state of emergency on waste management in the state.
He called on on other well meaning Abians to contribute their qouta in any little way for the upliftment of the state through their unflinching support to the government of the day.
