ABIA LG POLL: ISUIKWUATO GROUPS DRUM SUPPORT FOR KANU AGHAUKWA

Youth Leader, Osondu Joelee Okoro has led two groups, Isuikwuato Elites Club (IEC) and Isuikwuato Professionals Mandate (IEPM) to pledged their total support for the candidacy of Mazi Kanu Aghaukwa Kanu for the December 18, Abia State Local Government elections, under the platform of the ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS (APC).

The groups in separate statements made available yesterday in Isuikwuato, described some opposing voices against Kanu’s candidacy as unnecessary, adding that he possesses the credentials and capacity needed to turn around positively the fortunes of Isuikwuato Local Government Area.

The IEC in their statement signed by the Chairman, Mr. Njoku Ikokwu and Secretary, Silas Umeh, condemned those trying to play down Aghaukwa's candidacy and ask them to channel their energy in joining him in his quest to develop Isuikwuato LGA for the good of Isuikwuato people.

They also asked ABSIEC to be transparent in the forth coming election as a way of showing commitment to a better Abia.

In his remarks Osondu popularly known as Onye Ball strongly said that it is not a suprise that Mazi Kanu Aghaukwa Kanu has gained the hearts of Isuikwuato youths and students because he has always identified with the youths in times of needs. He also said this is the time to pay Mazi Kanu back for all the good things he has done for Isuikwuato youths.
