This was made known to Newsmen by Mr Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu, the CEO of Onyinye Ohuhu Humanitarian Aid Foundation and the Chief sponsor of Amaetiti Unity Cup. Speaking to Newsmen, Mr Raymond Ofoegbu revealed that the Amaetiti Unity Cup has been a unifying factor, bringing peace and togetherness amongst his people less his foundations decision to take up it's sponsorship. He applauded the Governor Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu the Executive Governor of Abia State for his developmental strides and giving Abians quality leadership.
He said the finals of the Amaetiti Unity Cup competition will be coming today with Umueze struggling it out witg Ihitte Obinugwu at 2pm for the 3rd place position.
The Finals shall be between
Umuda and Umuezike by 4pm at Amaetiti Community Primariy School Field Umuda Ofeme.
Mr Raymond Onyinyechi Ofoegbu also revealed that the prizes for winners are already down as usual. Winning team goes home with prize N500,000 cash while second N250,000 goes to the 2nd position and
N150,000 to the 3rd position respectively. their shall also be N50,000 for the 4th place.
Winner will also be decorated with Gold,
Silver, Bronze medals as part of the event.
There will be award
of Best players,
Best goal keeper,
Highest goal scorer,
Best behalved team
and Best coach.
The Onyinye Ohuhu Humanitarian Aid Foundation Boss also used the opportunity to Eulogize Dr Aham Ukoh, the Commissioner for Finance Abia State for his being extra ordinary in discharging his official duties and given succour to the good people of Ohuhu kingdom, asking God to bless him from all sides.
" I may not be able to express my appreciation here to all our great sons who have done us proud because they are numerous to mention. But permit me to appreciate Hon Kelechi Onuzuruike, Chidiebere Nwachukwu, Hon Emeka Ejiogu, Dr Success Ibeaknma, His Exellency Amb Empire Kanu, Chief Kennedy Anozie-Odiokonmba 1, Miss Chika Theresa Ofoegbu-SA to Gov on Youths mobilizations and a host of others" He said.
Permit me to stress that our foundation has been working hard to put smiles on the faces of our people through free medical services just like the one of 1st and 2nd Jan 2021 to ndi Ohuhu, delivered many wrappers to widows of Ohuhu and paid for the WAEC/NECO/JAMB of our sons and daughters.
We also Distributed many laptops to some Undergraduates and Encouraged many graduates without jobs in our community through counciling and financial support
We also Graded many roads and Reconstructed the community school field single handedly. These are but a few to mention. We r also planning to construct Afor Umuda market road to Ulonna North Farm settlements from next week to link the 2 major agricultural rich communities together for more food supplies, He narrated.
