2023: We will take Ikuku to Court If he fails to declare interest - Arochukwu PDP chieftain Kalu Nkochi

PDP chieftain and current youth leader of Arochukwu LGA Hon Kalu Agada Nkochi has has threatened to go to court if Rt Hon Engineer Chinedum Orji, the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly fails to declare interest on contesting for the governorship election come 2023 in Abia. 

According to Him Nkochi, "We have Confidence on the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.Engr. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji For the pragmatic way he has been piloting the affairs of the Abia state house of Assembly.

So I call on the Speaker Hon Engr Chinedum Orji to declare an Intention to run for the governorship of the state ahead of the 2023 general election.

The Chieftain who made the statement during a media pally in Umuahia noted that Engr Chinedum Orji remaines the best man for the Abia governorship job.

“What Abia State needs in 2023 is an individual equipped with the necessary political and social leadership skills, training and intellect to drive the engine of growth and development so as to move the state forward,” he said. 

Children Orji has touched and continues to touch the lives of residents of Abia State, through his direct touch initiative, building stadia for young people, provision of financial supports for small and micro enterprises, Churches, widows, orphans and the down-trodden.

“ We have called Engr Chinedum Orji, to make an intention to serve Abia State known, and that Umuahia North and we will support his candidacy if not, He should get ready to face the court” Hon Kalu Agada Nkochi said.
