The people of her Constituency to be decisive in choosing who will represent them in Abia State House Of Assembly this electorial period.
Speaking to newsmen in Umuahia during a media chat, Hon Chika lamented the slow pace of development in the Constituency, sighting bad representation.
According to her, INEC has brought the power back to the people with the new innovation of BVAS which makes electronic transmission of result possible. With these, ridging of electorial results will be nearly impossible, She said.
"I am sure this is the first time a woman will be representing Umuahia Central Constituency in the Assembly and with this, I will make sure that my people will not be relegated again in terms of development, infrastructure, education and other social amenities." She said"
I am going to initiate what I call collective representation where every constituents will be part of Governance and there will be regular town hall meeting to parley with the represented. I was born and bred in Umuahia so I know the wish of my people.
Recall that Hon Chika Ukandu Okpi made a tremendous advancement in the last election before her defection to Accord Party to contest for the 2023 general election.
