CHIKA IJABUODE: My Late father contributed in developing Umuahia so I cannot watch it decay.

  

 Umuahia Central House Of Assembly Candidate of the Accord Party (AP) Hon Chika Ukandu Okpi popularly known as CHIKA IJABUODE, during a media chat with newsmen said her passion for Umuahia central is about the decay in Umuahia.

 “I was born and bred here when things were good, when Umuahia was the cleanest in southeast but today Umuahia is the dirtiest. I cannot fold my hands and watch things go bad in Umuahia, so that is one of the reasons I am running for election“ She said

I am so passionate about Umuahia because I was born here and because my father was one of the people that developed Umuahia so I cannot see his efforts being wasted. Umuahia is the state capital but it doesn’t look like one, if we have a good government Umuahia would have looked like a state capital, She said.

 

Hon Chika Ukandu said if she’s given the opportunity to represent Umuahia Central Constituency in the coming election, she will sponsor bills that will mandate the government to embark in Urban renewal policy, develop Umuahia Urban and bring it to the status of a state capital. Hon Chika Ukandu also encourage the people of Umuahia Central Constituency to vote for individuals and not party.
