I will push for restructuring; State should control their resources - Abraham Godson

As part of his plans for Abia Central Senatorial Zone, Hon Dr John Abraham Godson has said that apart from attracting infrastructure to the zone, that he will encourage green revolution and plant trees just as we see in developed nations. There should be a recreational garden park in every local government. These are some of the few things that keep people going. As long as we attract infrastructure, creat employment and bring wealth to the people, we must also bring succuor closer to their door steps. It builds their health benefits. This is one of my priorities.

Dr Godson said he must make sure he attracts international donor agencies to the sympathy of our roads with his international connections.
Lamenting that bad roads are some of the problems farmers are facing to move farm produce and this inturn fight against food production. Some of the roads like Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene Rd, Umuokpara ring road, some roads in Umuahia Metropolis, Osisioma, Isiala Ngwa just to mention but a few.

According to him, We must make sure Building and maintenance of roads should be part of our social cooperate responsibility. "It is possible" he said.
He maintained that he will push for restructuring of our constitution to balance equation of state activities with the natural resources. Resources from any state should belong to that state. "Funny enough Jigawa state produces gold and controls it but Abia cannot control the oil we produce". That is not good "He said".
So restructuring will make the federating units more accountable. Let the states be generating and sharing
With the federal government and not the other way round.
