Former Abia Assembly Speaker Celebrates with President Tinubu on Id El Maulud, Calls for Support to Achieve Vision

Abuja, Nigeria – September 16, 2024

Former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Muslim faithful across the country on the occasion of Id El Maulud, the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

In a message released on Monday, Orji called for unity and continuous support for President Tinubu's administration, urging Nigerians to come together to achieve the vision of a stronger and more prosperous nation. He emphasized the importance of collaboration, noting that Tinubu’s leadership requires the collective effort of all citizens to realize the goals outlined in his "Renewed Hope" agenda.

“This celebration offers us a moment to reflect on the values of peace, love, and sacrifice, which are the core teachings of Prophet Muhammad. It is also a time for us to unite as a nation and offer our support to President Tinubu’s administration in its efforts to bring about sustainable development, economic progress, and security,” Orji said.

He expressed confidence in Tinubu's leadership and highlighted key initiatives in infrastructure, economic reforms, and job creation, which he believes can drive Nigeria toward long-term prosperity. Orji also urged politicians, civil society, and citizens alike to rise above party lines and support the government in achieving its national vision.

“Now more than ever, we need to set aside our differences and work together for the common good of our country. The success of this administration is tied to the contributions of every Nigerian. Let us all support the efforts being made to build a better and more inclusive nation,” he added.

The Id El Maulud celebration comes at a crucial time as the country faces economic challenges and security concerns which president Tinubu is facing squarely as the nation strives toward growth and stability, he concluded.
